FAQs
What’s this all about?
Every year, the CEOs and creatives who had the big-ass budgets get to go strut around in linen at Cannes.
So we’re creating a festival to celebrate the low-budget creatives making killer work.
Who can submit to Cans?
Anyone that made something! Big agency, small agency, or just an individual. The only rule: your project can NOT also be submitted to real Cannes.
I’m not from the USA, can I still submit an idea?
Of course! Submissions are accepted from anywhere across the globe.
What’s the budget limit?
There is none…however, submissions must prove to the Cans judges why the project budget was exceptionally low. A Super Bowl spot made with $10k? Great. A viral social campaign made with $8? Even better.
When’s the big event?
We’ll be hosting the Cans Festival Ceremonies in June 2024 in NYC. Invites and tickets to the event TBD.
What’s the cost to submit?
Cans Fest is a little…cheap. To cover operational costs, submissions will cost $20 for individuals, and $100 for agencies.
Are you just jealous you weren’t invited to real Cannes?
…no.
